DIFC has one of the densest restaurant concentrations in Dubai. That’s good news and bad news. Good, because there’s always a spot. Bad, because without a filter, most people default to the same three places.

The Best Steak and Frites in DIFC
We’ll start with ours because we know it well.
Rowley’s DIFC inside Central Park Towers. Classic Striploin at AED 145, Signature Ribeye at AED 175, the full sauce board including the new Royal Sauce launched April 27.

No reservations. First come, first served. Doors open at 11:30am, kitchen runs till 2am. Late Night Happy Hour kicks in at midnight with 50% off classic and signature steaks.
The Best Lunch Deal in DIFC
The AED 80 Power Lunch at Rowley’s DIFC. 250g steak, salad, unlimited classic fries, pouring daily 11:30am to 7:30pm. Same cut quality as the dinner menu, built for a shorter window.
For most DIFC workers, this is the default lunch unless you want to be adventurous. AED 80, 45 minutes, in and out.
If you’re after something lighter, the plaza has a cluster of cafes and salad spots. Lots of options, most of them decent, none of them memorable.
The Best Burger in DIFC
Every Monday in May, the Burger Happy Hour at Rowley’s. AED 80 for a burger, salad, unlimited classic fries, and a Coca Cola. Noon to 6pm, Mondays only, May 4 / 11 / 18 / 25.
For the cone version of the steak-and-fries concept, The Little Fox at Alserkal Avenue does an AED 39 steak and frites cone with a drink. Not in DIFC, but a short drive, and part of the same family.
The Best Late-Night Food in DIFC
Most DIFC kitchens close between 10pm and midnight. A few don’t.
Rowley’s DIFC runs till 2am, and Late Night Happy Hour from midnight to close means 50% off the classic and signature steaks. If you’re out past 11, it’s probably the best value food you’ll find in the district.
For something fast and hot at 1am, the Little Fox drive thru at Alserkal is still open. It’s a 15-minute drive, but it’s there.
