Al Qana is getting a new spot. The Little Fox, the steak-and-frites concept that started at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai, opens its Al Qana location on Wednesday, May 7. Walk-up service, hand-held food, late hours.
If you’re heading to Al Qana this week, here’s what to know.
What The Little Fox Is
The Little Fox is the small sibling of Rowley’s DIFC, the steakhouse in Central Park Towers. Same kitchen philosophy, same beef grade, different format.
The hero menu item is the steak and frites cone. Hand-held, full-sized, served with a drink. Steak on top, frites at the bottom, cooked to order. The cone format started at the Alserkal Avenue drive thru and has since landed at Dubai Festival City Mall and now Al Qana.
The other items rotate by location. Some spots do the burger, some don’t. We’ll share specifics on the Al Qana menu in our Instagram stories the week of opening.
Where Al Qana Sits in Abu Dhabi
Al Qana is the waterfront destination on the Eastern Mangroves, Abu Dhabi. Cinemas, dining, shopping, walking promenades. It’s where the city goes for an afternoon out without driving to Saadiyat or Yas Island.
Adding The Little Fox to that mix gives the area a quick hand-held option that doesn’t require sitting down at a full restaurant. Walk up, order, eat by the water, leave.
What to Order at the Opening
The cone, first. If you’ve never had it, that’s the order. Steak, frites, drink, in your hand, eaten as you walk.
Beyond that, watch @thelittlefox.uae for the full Al Qana menu reveal closer to opening day.
Walk-In Only, No Reservations
The Little Fox runs the same way at every location. No reservations. No bookings. Walk up to the counter, order, collect, go.
If there’s a line, the line moves fast. The cone is fast food in the literal sense, food prepared and served fast, not the ultra-processed sense.
